Missouri Life Magazine – What’s a new habit that you’re trying to adapt or change?

“To not worry about things so much and to try to relax more. I’m at an age where worrying isn’t going to change or fix it. You can’t imagine how old I am. I’m two years from 80. Somebody will come in here and I’ll say, “That poor old woman,” and she’s 10 or 15 years younger than me! A good diet is where it’s at. We are what we eat. You can’t run a car on lemonade. You can’t run a body on diluted and polluted food. If you can’t access or afford it, then you can pick out the cans that have the least amount of stuff you can read on them. If that’s the best you can do, that’s the best you can do. Actually, some of the non-brand names are more likely to not have preservatives in them. And if I can’t read it, I don’t want it in my body. I actually apologize to my body when I have to.”                                Humans of St Louis
